Gustavus snorted and looked up at Vanda. "Let us change it for this one hand. I would be very obliged."
Lysander buried and it reeked of whiskey. "No, love. It is the highest that wins it." He hadn't looked into his own dice cup yet. All his attention was on his tankard of whiskey.

She nodded to them ad then She took another look under her cup, hesitated for a moment, then put a single coin up.
"I should have insisted on some practice first," she said with a pleasant laugh.

Gustaves laughed, "I was going to fold but if you are only betting a single coin, I will call." He picked up his chip and looked at Louis waiting for him to call or fold.

Balneiros laughs quietly as Sabarrah already ignores the rules, anticipating having an open seat fairly soon.

Sabarrah squirms a little in her seat, her cheekbones pinking a bit as the others find amusement in her eagerness.
She peeps again at her dice under the cup and hmming and with a slight frown she adds another single point token to her two bet she has placed a bit in front of her cup.

"I'll take whatever Lysander has been drinking dear," Louis told the barmaid, glancing under his bowl at his dice, self assured smile never wavering. "He looks like he's enjoying himself."
"I'll call," he said, throwing in the coins owed. "And raise five," he added, tossing in additional chips.

The waitress brings out a glass of whiskey and bowed her head to the warlock. "Enjoy." Then the girl moved to hover behind Sabarrah, "Anything else you want my dear?" She smiled down low at the half-elf.
Gustaves had been about to throw in a single chip, but then he heard Louis raise the pot. He leaned back, and then throws in six coins to match the bet.
Sabarrah had called blindly so she to slides in six coins.
Lysander shook his head, and studied the pot and looked around at everyone. Then he winced and raised a hand to his head. He took another drink from his Dragonwater whiskey. "Too... too many people. Raise." He slide 15 chips into the pot, making the bet 15 for Lorel.
To call Lorel owes: 15 Vanda: 14 Louis, Gustaves and Sabarrah owe 9 The pot is now 44 chips

I am going to edit one minor rule. Just to make things move smoother I am going to remove the betting order. So anyone is allowed to bet or call as long as they have not folded.
Gustavus winces and then looked back under the cup. And then threw in 9 more coins. "You guys are all too silent for me. My usual game is much less focused." He took a sip from his purple wine.

Sabarrah shakes her head. 'I am good thank you.' She slides the 9 chips over.

Lorel looked across the table, gathering the 15 chips before pausing. "We could use a bit more distraction, I must admit" She said before waving for a drink. "What the hell, I raise", with that she added 5 chips, making 20, before pushing them in.

Vanda sees everyone else putting money in and matches them, wanting at least get to round two to see.
"Silence is boring, so... anyone know any good jokes?"

Sabarrah hmms. 'An Orc, an Elf and a Halfling walk into a tavern.. the Bar Keep eyes them and shouts at the brightly dressed Halfling with a jaunty feather in his cap. "You're Bard!!" '

Lysander and Gustavus both call. The players take their second die, the one with Eight sides and cast them.
